I was tasked with creating a book jacket for John Kennedy Toole's "A Confederacy of Dunces." The novel is a collection of excerpts from belching, radical, and bumbling slob Ignatius J. Reilly and his quest to become a working, productive member of society—albeit reluctantly. For this book cover, I took influence from vintage Communist propaganda, referencing both the time period that the book takes place in and the radical nature of the protagonist.
